Millport Bay provides an idyllic setting for yachters. South-facing, and sheltered by Little Cumbrae from incoming seas, its breath-taking scenery and perfectly preserved Victorian town offer a peaceful stopping place. Even in the summer, seals are common visitors, and in winter a colony lives on the islands in the bay. Bikes can be hired to tour the island, or the more energetic can walk around its perimeter. The bustling seaside town of Largs is only a 10 minute ferry ride away where there is much to see and do.
